ISS-Summer Session 2018 Sapporo, Japan

Welcome to the 2018 International Conference on Information and Social Science-Summer Session (ISS-Summer 2018). The conference is to be held in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan during August 17-19, 2018. The goal of ISS-Summer 2018 is to provide a place for scholars, experts and professionals with interdisciplinary backgrounds related to information and social sciences to exchange new ideas and latest researches face to face, to establish business or research network and to look for global partners for future collaboration. It is anticipated that a broad range of research and applied topics will be covered during the conference.

Dr. Nobutaka Odake is an Emeritus professor of department of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Industrial Management Engineering in Nagoya Institute of Technology. He graduates from department of Chemical Engineering, Tokyo University in 1974 and got Doctor of Engineering degree from Nagoya Institute of Technology late in 2002. Dr. Odake join several professional academic society, such as Japan Association for Management Systems, Japan MOT Society, Japan Society for Intellectual Production, Japan Society for Science Policy and Research Management, Japan Society for Production Management. He devoted himself in Education and Research. Especially in academy-industry cooperation, regional development, innovation system and technology management.

Dr. Sadaya Kubo is a full-time faculty member in the Business Administration and Information Department, the Faculty of Business Administration of Setsunan University. His research interests are Safety system science, Social systems engineering, Safety system, and Informatics of the public sector. Dr. Kubo graduated from Business Administration and Information Department, Setsunan University, and got Master and PhD degree in Industrial Engineering from Osaka Institute of Technology. He served as a technical adviser assisting police in several cases of cybercrime for the Osaka Prefectural Police Department.

Professor Wu, Sou-Chin is the department chair of Marketing and distribution management at Chihlee University of Technology. His research interest includes Internet Marketing, On-line Consumer Behavior, and Customer Relationship Management. He published several papers in these areas in several prestige journals including Journal of Information Management, Management Review, Technovation, etc. Professor Wu has been served as a consultant of Institute of Information Industry and also acquired Customer Relationship Management Commodity Analyst Certificate.

Teiji Watanabe   Hokkaido University, Japan

Teiji Watanabe is a professor of the Faculty of Environmental Earth Science and the Graduate School of Environmental Science, Hokkaido University. Having a background in alpine geomorphology, he specializes in mountain geoecology, with interests in interaction of human-geo-ecosystems in high mountain areas, ecotourism, and natural resource management in protected areas. He has conducted extensive fieldwork in the Himalaya, the Pamir, the Alps, and Japanese mountains.
